BHS 2025 Meeting
The annual meeting will be held on August 10th at 2 PM at the historic Curtis Stone property on Main Street in Brooklyn. Once again we will have a tent, and finger food catered by the Dog House shop in Hop Bottom. The meeting this year will primarily be a working event as we continue to properly archive our collections in the basement office space of the house, donated by Sarah (Stone) and Terry Miller. Click Here for more information.
A newsletter will be available at this meeting as well as a verbal report of the activities the past year, including the monument for the school demolished in 2023; park improvements in Brooklyn; return of a World War I Purple Heart to a family in Oregon; and a Susquehanna County Heritage Trail event on October 3-4, which the BHS will participate in.
